Merchandize Exports
Goods which are generally reported on f.o.b. (free-on-board)
basis, represent the value of all
goods provided to the rest of the world. Data are usually in US$.
Merchandize Imports Goods which are generally
reported on
c.i.f. (cost, insurance, freight) basis, represent
the value of all goods received from the rest of the world. Data are usually in US$.
Exports Quantum Index indicates the change of the quantity of exports, can be constructed using
either Laspeyres or Paasche
formula.
Imports Quantum Index indicates the change of the quantity of imports, can be constructed using either
Laspeyres or Paasche
formula.
Service Exports (Imports)
Services (previously no factor services) refer to economic output of intangible
commodities that may be produced, transferred, and consumed at the same time.
International transactions in services are defined by the IMF's
Balance of Payments Manual (1993), but definitions may nevertheless vary among
reporting economies.
