Crude Birth Rate  refers to the ratio of the number of births to the mid-year population during a certain period of time (usually a year) which is often expressed in ‰.

Crude Death Rate  refers to the ratio of the number of deaths to the mid-year population during a certain period of time (usually a year) which is often expressed in ‰.

Total Fertility Rate  is the number of children that would be born to a woman if she were to live to the end of her childbearing years and bear children in accordance with current age-specific fertility rates.

Marriage Rate  is the number of legal (recognized) marriages performed and registered per 1000 mid-year population which is often expressed in ‰.

Divorce Rate  is the number of legal (recognized) divorce performed and registered per 1000 mid-year population which is often expressed in ‰.

Life Expectancy at Birth  indicates the number of years a newborn infant would live if prevailing patterns of mortality at the time of its birth were to stay the same throughout its life.
