Air Freight  is the sum of the metric tons of freight, express, and diplomatic bags carried on each flight stage (the operation of an aircraft from takeoff to its next landing) multiplied by the stage distance of air carriers registered in the country.

Air Transport, Passengers Carried  Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.

Information and Communications Technology Expenditures include computer hardware (computers, storage devices, printers, and other peripherals); computer software (operating systems, programming tools, utilities, applications, and internal software development); computer services (information technology consulting, computer and network systems integration, web hosting, data processing services, and other services); and communications services (voice and data communications services) and wired and wireless communications equipment.

International Internet bandwidth  is the contracted capacity of international connections between countries for transmitting Internet traffic.

Fixed broadband subscribers  are users of the Internet who subscribe to paid high-speed access to the public Internet. High-speed access is at least 256 kilobits per second in one or both directions.

Container Port Traffic  Port container traffic measures the flow of containers from land to sea transport modes and vice versa, in twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), a standard-size container. Data refer to coastal shipping as well as international journeys. Transshipment traffic is counted as two lifts at the intermediate port (once to off-load and again as an outbound lift) and includes empty units.

Mobile Phones  Mobile phones refers to users of portable telephones subscribing to an automatic public mobile telephone service using cellular technology that provides access to the public switched telephone network.

Telephone Mainlines  Telephone mainlines are telephone lines connecting a customer's equipment to the public switched telephone network.

Roads, Goods Transported  Goods transported by road are the volume of goods transported by road vehicles, measured in 100 millions of metric tons times kilometers traveled.

Internet Users  are people with access to the worldwide network.
